Jackie Bensen
Counselor - Violin
Recognized as playing with “celestial beauty” (Boston Musical Intelligencer), Jacqueline Bensen is a passionate violinist and teacher based in Boston. She received a B.M. in violin performance in the studio of Dana Mazurkevich, and a B.A. in psychology from Boston University in 2022. As an active performer, Jacqueline participates in various ensembles including the Boston Chamber Symphony, the DuBois Orchestra, the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, and the Gilded Age Orchestra. She has performed as concertmaster with Mass Opera, The Boston Summer Opera, the Waltham Philharmonic, and Orchestra Without Borders. In addition to her active performing career, Jacqueline has been a dedicated ensemble director and private lesson instructor with Boston Music Project since 2023.
